Hood Family

Dear Family,
I'm going to write this right now before I forget. Everyone seems to be doing pretty well. Mom is in a care center and really is doing pretty well. She gets to play Bingo and has lots of activities she enjoys. She can't see very well or hear much but she makes the best of it. She still knows everyone, although her short term memory is poor. Someone might visit her one day and the next she doesn't remember it. She had a terrible cold the first of the year, but she came through it okay. I was afraid she'd go into pneumonia but she still surprises me with her health. When I bring her home to our house, she watches her clock to tell me it's time to take her back. I get tickled at her Bingo time--she won't miss that.

I think everyone in our bunch is doing okay. We saw Charles and Goldie and Patsy a few weeks ago and had a nice visit here in Andrews. Patsy's granddaughter, Kristin (Cherie and Terry's daughter) is getting married in June so they're busy with that. They are having a Mexico beach wedding at a resort near Cancun. Charles and Goldie go 4 wheeling in the mountains with his son and wife, Terry & Patty. We've gone with them once and have had a ball. I talk to Ray and Sandi weekly and they are doing good. Ray still fishes all he can, of course.

All my kids are doing good. Brad had corrective surgery Wednesday and is doing fine. He and his family are recuperating here. Of course we're spoiling they son, Foster all we can.

I think all my siblings are coming to the reunion. My kids are talking about it so I'll try to get comitments from them soon. I'm pretty sure Bob and I will be there.

Gotta go feed this bunch so I'll hush. Everyone take care and come see us.
