Dear Family,
We are doing well here except for my old age problems. That is expected.
Jeanette, as for as I know, there will be 10 adults and 6 children going to the reunion this year. Jeff and Shawn are
not sure. The ones going are looking forward to it.
Virginia had a colonoscopy on Mon. They found one polyp which was removed, and said every thing looked good.
Ed, Norma's husband, has had a lot of back problems again. Jeff feels like he injured it at the farm doing something
for the cows. He is a little better, he says.
Norma and Virginia have been busy this past week helping Juanice, Raymond's sister. They took her to the hospital
and she was dangerously low on sodium. Her blood pressure was too high. She is home now, but they are still having to do things
for her. We have been trying to talk her into moving into an assisted living place. Her doctor even suggested
that she might try it. If she was there, someone would check on her, clean her apartment, and she could have all of her meals
there. At least she would have a balanced diet. She got a cold while in the hospital and is fighting that.
I finally got to see my new great granddaughter, Sarah Marie Brooks. She is beautiful and will be a month old tomorrow.
Since news is scarce here, I'll sign off.
Love, Pat and Virginia
