Dear Family,
I am anxious to hear from all of you. I really miss the monthly newsletter but realize
that it is way too costly in time and money to produce. Especially when everybody had to be remined to submit. Just
like me. I think Jeanette reminded me each time. Anyway we do get messages from Jeanette when there are illnesses. There
is not much work to do on the rent houses Our real work happens when someone moves out and our renters stay a long time.
Curtis manages them and I keep the books and write checks. Curtis doesn't have much to do right now. I keep wanting
him to come with me when I go to the gym or Tai Chi lessons but he won't.(ha) I have to have something to do,
so I go to the gym and Tai Chi on Mondays. Once a month on Tuesdays I play bridge. On Wednesday I go to
exercise and Tai Chi. On Thursdays I play Scrabble and Fridays I play duplicate bridge. That keeps me off the
streets and out of Curtis' hair. I also do some gardening and with all that and church work I don't have much time that
I don't have something to do and when I have time I play on the computer. My grandchildren are in college.
Jeff in Mid Missouri State University. He is majoring in industrial health and safety. He expects to graduate
in the spring of 2009.
Liz is a freshman at the University of Georgia. She chose to go there because they
have a superior music department. Curt and Terri are both working. Terri started selling real estate last year, in April
I think, and she's really doing well. I'm very proud of her. She knows so much about houses and decorating since
she's moved so many times and has had lots of practice. She has lots of enthusiam for her job and life in general, that she
is a natural for real estate. I was careful not to mention it when she was trying to decide what to do. I
don't know anything else so I'll close and look forward to hearing from all of you.
Love Jean
